Big gigs in Wales announced for 2021

2020 has been a dire year for concerts, with most either postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Although there is still uncertainty over what 2021 will bring, many artists have announced tour dates with the hope that they will be able to go ahead.

Here is a list of the big Welsh gigs that are scheduled to take place next year.

Little Mix

Little Mix have just announced exciting details of a new headline UK and Ireland arena tour for 2021.

The band will be at the  Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on Monday, May 10 .

The gig will see Little Mix perform songs from their upcoming album ‘Confetti’.

They were originally expected to go on a summer tour earlier this year, performing at Cardiff City Stadium which was cancelled.

Tickets for the new tour go on sale at 9am on Friday, September 25 via  ticketmaster.co.uk  and  axs.com.

The pop group will reunite for the 14-date ‘What The Future Holds Tour’.

Tickets for the gig went on sale  at 10am today.

Fans can also expect the band to play some of their biggest hits including ‘One For Sorrow’, ‘Tragedy’, ‘Stomp’, ‘Say You’ll Be Mine’ and ‘Last Thing On My Mind’ to name a few.

The band will be at the Motorpoint Arena in the capital on November 29, 2021.

HAIM have also announced a Cardiff show.

The trio will play at the Motorpoint Arena on June 23, 2021.

The Specials

The hugely influential and veteran ska band have announced a huge UK tour for 2021 including a date at Motorpoint Arena on September 10 .

Following the release of their eighth studio album ‘Encore’ to critical acclaim, their first new studio album in nearly forty years, the band comprised of Terry Hall, Lynval Golding and Horace Panter are hitting the road again.

Everyone’s favourite grime artist – and the nicest guy in hip hop – will hit the Welsh capital at the Motorpoint Arena on April 20, 2021.

Singer-songwriter Sam Fender will be at the Motorpoint Arena on  April 24, 2021

Pussycat Dolls

Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Carmit Bachar, have announced a reunion tour

The showbiz legend will also be at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on June 1, 2021

Also at the Motorpoint Arena is JLS with their comeback tour rescheduled for June 14-16 2021

Gerry Cinnamon

The planned Gerry Cinnamon concert at Cardiff Castle, will now take place on May 30 2021.

 

Foals

Foals at Cardiff Castle will now take place on June 5, 2021.

Michael Buble

International superstar Michael Buble will now be returning to Cardiff to play the historic Cardiff Castle on July 22, 2021 .

Lionel Richie

International superstar Lionel Richie will now be performing at Cardiff Castle on August 1, 2021

Rammstein
