“The European automotive market is hugely challenging”

Rob Lindley, Managing Director for Mitsubishi Motors UK Distributor, the Colt Car Company, has spoken about his 32-year career in the motor industry, including the effects of the financial crisis of 2008 and more recently the huge impact of COVID-19.   Lindley was speaking to business leaders across Wales at the Cardiff Business Club’s latest gathering on Monday February 22. Canal Quarter and Cardiff East Transport Scheme details revealed

Cardiff residents are being asked for their views on plans for an exciting, new Canal Quarter in the city centre and on the Cardiff East Transport Scheme which will manage traffic options around parts of the city. The new project could see Boulevard de Nantes; Stuttgarter Strasse; Dumfries Placeand Station Terrace remodelled, replacing an ‘outdated’ road network while significantly improving walking and cycling links between the civic centre at City Hall, Castle Street and the city centre. Plans Move forward for a new bridge linking Llanrumney to the A48

Plans for a new bridge to provide a direct link from Llanrumney to the A48 at the Pentwyn junction have taken a step forward following private-sector bids to deliver the scheme. A report on the proposals – which form part of the East Cardiff Industrial Strategy – will be taken by Cardiff Council’s Cabinet on Thursday, November 19, where it will be recommended the Council agrees to sell land to help fund the development.
