UTSAV 2026

Following the resounding success of their inaugural UTSAV in 2025, September will see Samarpan partner with the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and become a riot of colour and sound with their vibrant, cultural celebration of South Asian Classical Dance returning to Cardiff on Sunday 13th September.

UTSAV 2026 celebrates the depth, beauty and diversity of classical Indian Dance forms, platforming both emerging talent and some of the most revered practitioners from the U.K and beyond.

The first half of the festival will feature performances by the dedicated students of the Samarpan, Cardiff showcasing their artistic journey and representing the dialogue of Indian classical dance diaspora in Cardiff.

The second half will present Internationally acclaimed artists from across the UK, offering audiences an opportunity to experience the richness and stylistic range of South Asian classical dance.

Ashwini Kalsekar – Katha

UTSAV 2026 promises to be a dynamic platform that honours classical heritage while celebrating the next generation of artists.
