Police want to speak to these two men for murder of Tomasz Waga

South Wales Police is continuing to investigate the murder of Tomasz Waga in Cardiff. Tomasz’s body was discovered by a member of the public at approximately 11.30pm on Thursday, January 28  in Westville Road, Penylan. He had been the victim of a sustained assault. Two men have already been charged in connection with his death and are remanded in custody awaiting trial. Detectives have now released the identity of two other men – Josif Nushi and Mihal Dhana  – who are wanted on suspicion of murder. Police investigate ‘loud explosion’ in Llanrumney area of Cardiff

South Wales Police is investigating a burglary at the Co-op store in Countisbury Avenue, Llanrumney, Cardiff, which happened at around 4am this morning. It is believed that suspects used acetylene cylinders to gain access to the shop and cash machine resulting in a loud explosion and causing significant damage. A number of flats above the shops were evacuated as a precaution while the cylinders were made safe by the fire service. Man jailed for life following stranger attack in Cardiff

A ‘cold and dangerous’ man has been jailed for life following a stranger attack on a young woman in Cardiff. Craig Walters, who also goes by Craig Watts and Craig Whites, was identified by using Facial Recognition on a CCTV image taken from a bus he had been travelling on. The 39-year-old was arrested within 48 hours of the attack and last month pleaded guilty to false imprisonment with intent to commit a sexual offence. Two men charged with murder of Tomasz Waga due in court

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Tomasz Waga have been charged and will appear before Cardiff Magistrates on Friday morning (12 February). Damjano Velo, 23, from Whitchurch, Cardiff has been charged with murder. Behar Kaci, 29, of no fixed address, has been charged with drugs and money laundering offences. Cardiff man fined for speeding on the River Ely

A Cardiff resident has been found guilty of speeding on the River Ely and ordered by magistrates to pay a £1,200 fine. Darren Ryan, from Leckwith, was filmed exceeding the legal maximum 5 knot speed limit, which also applies to boats using the River Taff and the Cardiff Bay inner harbour, on two separate occasions last June. Police in Cardiff are appealing for information following an attempted robbery and an assault which occurred on two boys in the Canton area of Cardiff last night (Wednesday, 30 December, 2020). Illegal Pontprennau party shutdown and summons issued

A number of revellers have been reported for summons after an illegal rave was shut down by South Wales and Gwent Police forces on Sunday (December 27). Officers were alerted to the unlicensed event near Pontprennau – which was also in breach of current coronavirus restrictions –  at around 10.45pm.
