The highly anticipated details for the regeneration of a brownfield site in Cardiff have been unveiled by developer Vastint UK as a public consultation launches today. Members of the public have been invited to share their views on the masterplan proposals for a transformative, mixed-use project which aims to strengthen connections between Cardiff City Centre and the bay along the banks of the River Taff. Taxi firm offers free rides to elderly and vulnerable patients

Dragon Taxis, South Wales’ largest taxi and private hire vehicle operator, is offering free rides to help roll out the COVID-19 vaccine to elderly and vulnerable patients across Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport and Torfaen. GP practices across South Wales are taking their first steps in the process to tackle the pandemic by vaccinating the elderly and vulnerable in the local community. Cardiff Bus to reduce service from this weekend

Cardiff Bus customers are being alerted to service changes taking place across its network from this weekend. The operator is set to alter services from Sunday January 17th with customers advised to only travel for essential reasons and check all timetables before they travel if their journey is necessary. The decision to reduce services has come as a result of discussions between the Welsh Government and bus operators, to reflect the current and ongoing lockdown. Sam Warburton is on a mission to raise £500,000 for Cardiff Dogs Home

Welsh Rugby legend Sam Warburton has had many titles in his career – a Grand Slam, the Six Nations, youngest ever World Cup captain – and now he’s retired, Cardiff Dogs Home Ambassador. It’s this new role that is the focus of Sam’s attention now, as he’s joined forces with local registered charity The Rescue Hotel to try to raise £500,000 to refurbish the kennels at Cardiff Dogs Home, which looks after up to 1000 stray dogs from Cardiff a year. Plans for hidden courtyard in Cardiff city centre revealed

Plans have been revealed for a new ‘hidden’ courtyard in the heart of Cardiff’s historic Castle Quarter.  Designed by Cardiff’s Rio Architects, the proposed regeneration scheme will demolish and repurpose a redundant former nightclub which sits in the space behind High Street and Duke Street Arcades.
